Career Center:
College visits continue: Tomorrow Montana State will be here at 8:15am and Evergreen is here at 10:15am.
Gonzaga will visit the Career Center Monday at noon and Tuesday is a big college day! Seattle Pacific is at 8:15am, Hamilton college in New York at 11:00am and 4th period the U of O, OSU, Western, Southern, Eastern, Portland State, OIT and Lane Community College.
Library:
Starting this year, the library is requiring a Churchill ID card in order to check out books from the library. This will begin Monday, October 19th. Since the beginning of the year, library staff have been letting students know that this will happen. Please be sure to carry your Churchill ID with you when you are on campus. Students who do not yet have an ID card should get one as soon as possible. See Julie or Lisa in the library if you have any questions.
An organizational meeting for a Sustainable Living Club will happen at lunch today in room H-20, Mr. Horowitz’ classroom – recycling, rethinking and reworking our daily activities.
Health Center:
In the United States, a person dies by suicide every 16 minutes. Please consider joining the Out Of The Darkness Community Walk on Sunday at noon at Alton Baker Park to raise funds and awareness to prevent suicide. Come by the Health Center for more information.
Attention Seniors:
It’s time to order your cap, gowns and graduation announcements. Orders will be taken at school on Monday and Tuesday, October 19th and 20th from 10:00am through lunch in the Student Lounge. Don’t forget to bring your order forms and deposit money.
The Churchill Thespians will meet tomorrow as soon as school gets out to distribute point cards and have apprentices fill theirs out and members update theirs. This meeting will be in the choir room right after early release tomorrow.

Seniors! Today is the last day to turn in your resume for self-nomination scholarships. Please turn them in today, to Betsy in the Career Center.

Learn more about these and other foreign study and travel abroad opportunities by attending the regional International Study and Abroad Fair on Thursday, October 22nd from 7:00 to 8:30pm, in the Sheldon High School Cafeteria.
