Mr. Lancer:

Hey everyone! Come enjoy ice cream or frozen yogurt at TCBY this Thursday.  It’s from 5:00 to 9:00pm.  The Mr. Lancer contestants are the waiters and you can vote for who does the best job serving!  See you there!

What do whales do when no one is watching?  What causes the Dead Zone?  How do you track invaders?  How do you determine the cause of death?  Join the Hatfield Marine Science Center’s CSI, a day of science investigation, and find out the answers to these questions.  Applications are open to all students.  Scholarships and a car pool are available, too.  See Mary Beth in the School to Career office soon.  The deadline is April 3rd.

Students make the best use of your Wednesday mornings – come study in the Career Center until class starts.  Free tutors are available as well as Career Center volunteers.  To make it extra worth-while we are giving raffle tickets for each half hour you spend studying in the Career Center from 7:45 to 9:45am on Wednesdays.  One of these tickets will win a new, blue i-Pod nano in a drawing at noon on the Friday before spring break.

All members of the Paytonk team be sure to meet for a yearbook photo today at lunch in Mr. Stasack’s room F-37.

 

Mr. Lancer:

Need your car washed?  Come to 7-11 on 18th and Chambers tomorrow and have the Mr. Lancer contestants wash your car.  The time is from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

 

There will be a Kennedy Talent Show right here in the Churchill’s own auditorium on March 19th, at 6:30pm.  There is a $2.00 admission charge.  Come and see “Stars On Stage”.

Tickets are now on sale at the Finance office for the Boys Basketball game, Thursday night at Mac Court.  The cost is $4.00 for students and $7.00 for adults.  Come and watch the mighty lancers take on Wilsonville at 8:15pm at Mac Court.

Seniors – Don’t miss out on all the great scholarship opportunities posted in the Career Center.  Remember to turn in LCC scholarship applications by March 12th.  On Wednesday a representative  from Central Oregon Community College will visit the Career Center at 10:00am.  Considering playing sports in college?  Bring your parents to Student Athlete Night this Wednesday night at 7:00pm in the Career Center.

 

Paytonk:
